Rear ls1 brake question

hi. i was trying to bolt up my rear calipers and i couldn't. I was wondering exactly where does the rear caliper bracket bolt up to? Is it betweent the ebrake assembly and the backing plate, i was wondering because i didnt try that. i tried to bolt it to the backside of the backing plate and it wont fit over the rotors, know way close to fitting.. is there as spacer betweent the backing plate and the ebrake.. please help .thanks

Re: Rear ls1 brake question

The carriers will bolt onto the two holes in the LS1 backing plate. No offense but you do have all the right parts for the install? Something about the way you wrote that lead me to think you are either missing something or don't have everything you need...if the caliper won't slide over the rotor something's not right.

Re: Rear ls1 brake question

yes it will bolt up but I think I need to bolt it up with the carrier on the wheel side of the backing plate. I was trying to bolt it up on the back side of the plate and the caliper wouldn't clear the rotors. Is this correct?
