82 trans am brake line help
82 trans am brake line help
I have an 82 trans am and it has a hole in the brake line to the rear brakes. I want to replace the the whole brake line and was thinking about going stainless steel. Where can I get molded brake lines without getting raped on the price? Should I change out to braided hoses as well? Thanks!

Re: 82 trans am brake line help
82's have standard brake line fittings so if you replace it with factory stuff it must be from a 82-83 f-body later stuff will not thread in or seal.

Re: 82 trans am brake line help
Just buy 50' of 3/16" hard line from napa and bend it where you want it. Buy a handful of the clips to connect it to the chassis.
Then just cut and flare it as needed.
