Replacement Rotors For Baer Sport System

I have the Baer Sport system installed on both the front & rear of my Formula. My question deals with replacement rotors. I've looked at rotors other than the ones sold by Baer. They are considerably cheaper. However, they all list their pads per vehicle application, not by size. I know my current rotors, the ones that came with the Baer system, are 12" rotors. But no one lists their rotors by size, other than Baer. I am sure that if I purchased rotors for a 1990 Formula, I would end up getting replacements for the tiny stock rotors. Any suggestions?

Re: Replacement Rotors For Baer Sport System

The issue with the 12" kit is that Baer is the only vendor I know of that offers that 12" x 1.1" rotor size unless you go to a two piece rotor from Coleman or TCE. Finding the hats will be your problem, I've been trying to find custom hats for years that don't cost you $200 each to make...and I haven't found any. That's for the fronts.

The rears will give you the same issue as the rotors are a full 12" in diameter, a stock 1LE/LT1 rotor is only 11.65" so you can't use a stock replacement rotor. Again, unless you go to a two piece rotor you're stuck. Baer does this for a reason.
