US brake oversize calipers
I am looking for cheap brake upgrades in the future. I'm going to get better pads/shoes and stainless flex lines for sure. Somone pointed me toward these:http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...115+4294891555
Is there really any advantage to these? I plan on keeping the stock brake size and not dump alot of money into the brakes, just affordable upgrades. The car is mostly my daily driver but will see some time at autox events throughout the year. Also do slotted rotors help any? Only saw one thread on these from way back.

No body has any information on these? I am considering these as an upgrade since I am limited by my 15" wheels and won't be getting new larger rims anytime soon or ever. I am already going to rebuild the rear drums, get good pads/shoes, and steel braded flex lines front and rear.

It is just and oversized piston in the caliper. Honestly, at that price, you can probably get a set of LS1 stuff for around the same price, that would be the way to go. I really wouldn't waste any money doing a stock style upgrade like this. With the low cost of LS1/C5 upgrades, just go that route.
