Can you turn drilled and slotted rotors?

Yes you can. You'll probably run into a lot of places that say they cant do it, they just dont know how to use their machine.

Along with the interrupted cut being hard on the tooling. Tends to chip and break the carbide tips. So many shops won't turn drilled and/or slotted rotors.

Yeah, just have to go slower (take off less material each pass).

Yep, trying to take off too much on each pass will tear up the bits fast. Rust does the same thing.
