Little Swap Help please....

Ok, I got a 91 RS and an 87 IROC.

The 87 IROC has a disc rear, and my 91 has dumb...errr..... drum brakes.

The 87 is getting a Moser 9" and I would like to just swap the disc onto the 91 and the drums onto the 87 w/9"

My question comes for the 91.... will I just need to remove the backing plates, and swap the brackets and items from the 87 along with new lines??

Just a quick info will help and thanks.

Yes you can if you have the right backing plates and mod the drum rear axle flanges for those old rear discs. But I wouldn't waste your time with the old style brakes, they aren't dependable...your drums are probably better. IMO, upgrade the rears to the newer style rear discs, you'll be glad you did.
