racecraft drop spindles

has anyone used racecraft drop spindles yet, also I was wondering if ebmiller has made brackets for LS1 or C5 brakes yet. I was looking at ordering their drop spindles for rack and pinion, and was wondering my brake options

Re: racecraft drop spindles

I installed their k-member, a-arm and dropped spindle, just finished the drivers side, waiting on an item to finish off the passenger side, everthing fit like a glove. I was so worried after hearing about horror stories about fitiing the K-members, when I took the old one out it took me about 10 mins to put the new one in

Re: racecraft drop spindles

I am working with Mark on the brackets at this time. Some are good to go, some need tweaking but I'll provide them for the spindles. There is a purchase thread in the GP section if anyone is interested in getting a set of spindles and brackets at a good price.

Re: racecraft drop spindles

Do these kit reposition the mounting point of the tie rod also?

I guess I should have asked "does the tie rod mounting point move north the same amount as does the spindle?"

Re: racecraft drop spindles

Hi Cash, I seem to recall Mark stating that that point does move north a bit but I'd check with him. I have a set at the shop that I'm using for testing if you want to arrange to stop by and look at them, very nice parts.

I finished installing the dropped spindles, I used Aerospace street brakes kit, no problems with the spindles or brake kit
