Re: ls1 fronts

Are you referring to a sheetmetal external conversion? LS1 nose on a 3rd gen?

Re: ls1 fronts

Are you looking to do it 110% at home? bigbrakeupgrade.com sells ful bolt on kits, or just the pieces you need, if you can't do EVERYTHING, like getting your spindles turned down.

Here you go:

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/faq-...s1-brakes.html

LMK if you need anything, I'm glad to help out. Get your best price with ceramic pads and braided lines and then get with me.

Thanks!

Re: ls1 fronts

awsome, i was looking in the total wrong direction lol. Here's my deal I'm putting on an lt1 rear disc setup and then the ls1 setup. from what i understand all i would need are calipers, carriers, your little caliper mount bracket. some bolts and (this is where i get confused) a rotor to be used as a hub/spacer for under/isnide the ls1 style rotor?

my concerne is does this "hub" have to be a exact tight fit? like maybe differant brands of rotors have slightly differant tolarances and say one could have a slightly bigger opening and one could be smaller???

anyway i would imagine u offer kits. so how much for the complete kit? calipers to rotors, and how much is just the brackets, and how much for the hubs. any help would be awsome.

Re: ls1 fronts

Right, the brakes and then all the custom parts you'll need to finish it up, along with the spindle mods. I also recommend installing braided lines to finish your upgrade but it's not necessary.

The LS1 hubs is a bit different than C4 and C5 hubs in that it must sit inside the rotor hat but it still needs to be as large as possible to keep as much strength as possible, 5.9" is a good outside diameter for the LS1 hub.

I'll PM you with more info on the setup.
