POLISHED LS1 calipers, almost ready for candy red!!!

Ive got one caliper done for now, not the best polish job I've done, but all I had was a half-dead dremel, Mothers and some elbow grease. My ultimate goal is to polish all 4 calipers (actually, only polish the outside face that shows through the wheel), clean up the casting everywhere else, and powder coat them all in candy red. Here are some before and after shots of the one I did tonite

POLL: Im painting my car Corvette Electron Blue, almost the same color as the stock Bright Blue Metallic. My original plan was to coat the calipers in candy/anodized blue powder which is almost identical to the paint on the car, but Im now wanting some contrast. You think candy red would be too much, or just shoot them with some regular red? Or shoot them with the candy blue to match the car? Here's a link to the colors:

Looks sweet! how long did it take. I'm going with Red. It always looks good on calipers.

Took about 2 hours or so, had to stop a few times when I was using the dremel, kept overheating on me. The candy red is a transparent powder, so putting it over a reflective surface will really make it pop. should be coating the first one this weekend

2 hours for 1 caliper? are you doing the powder coating yourself?

ya, Ive got Eastwood's home kit. Again though only reason it took me 2 hours is because my dremel kept overheating on me, had to stop and let it cool. Probably could have done it in less than an hour if I had reliable tools
