rear adjust

rear adjust

how tight do i make the rear drum when adjusting the rear brakes.

They adjust themselves, just keep pulling the cable up and down to adjust the tension.

you mean the parking brake?

I did some more research and i think if i just adjust the start wheel till the drum has a slight drag i should be ok, sound right to you?

Also today while replacing the front pads I found a worn line so that needs replaced but that means bleeding the brakes and the bleeder valves are rusted on big time and i soaked them in wd40 but it still would not come loose, I tried vise grips but it just rounded of the shoulders some, Now what can i do to get them out or loose or bleed the brakes ?

a bolt-out might get them off, but you'll have to replace them.
