I have done my 1LE swap about a month ago and does anyone here know if 15" factory rs wheels will fit with my 11.6 rotors. OR do i need to jump to 16" i have some 14's but i know they dont. Someone help fast.... THANKS

 

15-inch tires will fit the 1989-1992 J65 PBR REAR calipers, but just barely. There's like .125" of clearance.

I'm trying to remember if I ever used my 15-inch turbo-finned wheels over my 1LE brakes. Tell you what: One of the wheels is in my basement, and my car currently is off the ground with the wheels off. It wouldn't be too hard to give it a go tomorrow and report back the findings. However it's not a Camaro wheel, it's a Firebird wheel so YMMV.

 

thanks. I would test it but i dont have the wheels at my house. and the rear is on blocks and 14's on front.

Okay,
I have a 15 x 7 wheel on the front of my car right now with no clearance problems. It's tight back there, but the 1LE caliper does not scrape on the wheel. Probably .250" of clearance.

These are the N78 turbo-finned aluminum wheels from my '84.

 

I have the 15 89 wheels that i need to get. 5 spoke supposed o pick up today. I appreicate the help. Wonder if spacer may push it out for a bit more clearance. Again thanks. Ill try them when i get in. and post a pic.
