Simpel rear disc question...

Got a simple one I guess. But not for me right now ;-)
How do I push the piston back on the rear brakes?
Usually just push them back in? Or am I wrong?
On mine, nothing's movin' there. But I'm not sure how exactly the park brake system is working on a chevy. Just know that on newer VW's you have to turn the piston, while pushing it. but to me it doesn't seems like it's the case here.
Are the calipers defect? What can I do?
