something binding in brake system?
never noticed this before, not sure if its a new problem or something i just didnt notice because i was still breaking in the car and not panic braking, but i only have about 1" of pedal travel, then the pedal just stops dead, solid. There should be a lot more travel, no? i cant even lock the brakes. The car stops pretty well regardless but something is wrong, any ideas?
i checked the pedal for binding, nothing there.
question, i unbolt the master cylinder and push the brake pedal, will it damage anything, seals ect? i want to try to trace back to where the problem is, its almost like the master is binding up? its a ls1 master and a stock booster.

Re: something binding in brake system?
well, thanks for the help guys
i have it all figured out, i was not making enough vacuum to use the brakes. I installed a vacuum reserve canister and its all good.
