Upgrading cheaper...showing off inside

This is my set of cts v 4 piston brembo calipers that I bought off ebay used ($350). They were chipped up and thrashed a bit but otherwise in good shape. I sanded them down and painted them gold with G2 paint. Turned out pretty good.

I have already ordered black brembo stickers to go on them. I plan on running 14" rotors with ebmiller88's setup

Oh and I also got 3 good sets of brake pads with them (and all clips and pins). Only one set was doneskis.

Awsome.

Are you planning on running the cts-v REAR calipers? I will also be running the cts-v front calipers on the front with 14" rotors and belltech drop spindles. I have the rotors and calipers sitting next to me, and am waiting for my pads, hubs, lines, and brackets. If anybody has been trying to contact Ed, I just got an email from Ed's wife letting me know that he is extremely busy working 12 hour shifts for the past 10 days.

It looks like there is metal flake in that paint?

No, no flake but it is really nice paint from G2. I wish I had done a bit better job painting them but they came out pretty well. From 5 feet away you wont see any defects.

Ive also recently installed some Brembo decals. They look pretty sweet!

How are you running the rear calipers. I just picked up a set of calipers. Id like to be able to use the rears too. Ive got LS1 rears now, I assume theses use the same internal drum parking brake style set up? So whats needed.

Re: Upgrading cheaper...showing off inside

Someone was supposed to send me a rear CTSV caliper so I can start working on a matching rear design but it hasn't shown up yet. I plan on using a rear rotor with an internal drum design like LS1 or C5/C6.

Ed, Do you still need the caliper? I can order one in and send it to you unless you have other closer options.

Sidenote: How are the c5/c6 backing plate w/ parking brake setup coming?
