So I just had my front brakes done. I gave my mechanic some used rotors which he cut and put on. He did not replace the rotors because he said they were fine, but now when I brake it squeals like I need new brakes. My mechanic said I probably need new brake pads. So I what I want to know is how to replace brake pads and what are decent pads? Is there a difference in quality? I do also want to have more sensitive brakes.

 

Hawk HPS have a nice feel to them. I just put soe on my car. They grip ok, but I STILL need to up grade from my stock 4 wheel discs.... yes! yes!
