Need a little brake booster help
I am in the process of revamping the engine bay so I took all the brake components out to refinish them.
I am at the point where I need to put the brake booster back with the master cylinder. It looks like there is a rod from the booster that pushes the master, but I can't find it anywhere. Did I misplace this part, or does the booster have a recessed rod I can't see?
I really need to know ASAP.

The booster should have a little tit sticking out of it and a rod that goes from it to the brake pedal under the dash. The longer rods are normally used on non power braked cars. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.

That is what I was afraid of.. I think I have lost the "tit" so to speak. I hope if I push the rod on the pedal side, it will come out.. the car is 40 min away so it's hard to take a quick look at things.
