Replace 82-87 rear calipers with newer style

Replace 82-87 rear calipers with newer style

Hi,

I know there's a big page showing how to convert a Camaro/Firebird brake setup to 1LE rear brakes setup, but it seems like I would have to replace half of the brake system to do this...
So I wanted to know if there exist any rear calipers that would be a (nearly) direct swap from the older style iron "426" type.

Yes, but how much more benefit they'd be with stock rotors I can't say:
