master cylinder
So i figured my 20 year old master cylinder is shot and needs a replacement... so i picked up a used low milage mc from a 98 bird.
From what i read on the net its a simple swap. It is also to my understanding the 93-97 had different brake fitting sizes. and the 98-02 is what i need.
I unbolted mine and saw the brake line thread sizes matched the new M/C Yay!
But the bore size dont... My stock 3rd gen bore is like 31-32m
then the 4th gen master cylinder's bore is 25.4... what's up with that?

Re: master cylinder
the smaller bore size is a good thing, dont worry about it.

Re: master cylinder
i did because they were different. But some people here say they have used the stock one with no issues.
