Rear break question
I'm trying to diagnose a sound coming from my car.
I'm thinking it might be my rear breaks.
I have rear drum breaks on my car and it's been at least 7 years since they have been changed.
My question is.....
If the shoes are worn or are wearing out..... can you feel it in the shifter?
MY first thought was the rear shoes need replacing, but began to wonder if I'm having tranny problems.
The noise and and shifter all become quiet when I apply the breaks.
Could it be the shoes are worn to the point of replacement time?
I'm going to pull the rear tires tomorrow and find out for sure.
Just thought I'd ask here this evening.
