the driver side front brake on my 87 firebird is locked. i had to get another car to push it back in my driver way because it wouldn't roll back. (currently it doesn't run) Can i do anything about this even though the car won't run currently? are there anything tricks to this besides pulling the wheel and seeing whats up?

 

that is happening to me 2, i had to open the bleed valve/ nipple to release the pressure and bleed the whole system again.

 

it depends on why its siezed. If its seized from sitting, you have to take it all apart and replace parts as needed.

If it just started, its most likely the rubber flex hose. They deteriorate from the inside out and can collapse and trap fluid in the caliper causing it to lock and stay that way.

 

where's the valve located?

 

remove the tire and u will see it, its by the capilar, I already kno wher mine is so I just turn the wheel and do it.
