rear brakes stick need help?

Okay so I did my rear shoes , new return springs ,turned drums , replaced rear hose , and both wheel cylinders and I'm still having a problem with the brakes sticking and getting very hot both sides we don't think it's the master cylinder or the valve , because from what I've read when the valve goes bad you lose brakes same with the master cylinder. I have read about the rod that works the master cylinder could need adjusting but from my understanding if the rod would wear that would also cause lose of brakes so I'm kinda stuck on what to do next i don't wanna just keep throwing parts at it the pedal feel is great they have been bled out with new fluid . I also backed the adjuster way off and they still got really hot. I also removed the e-brake to rule that out still the same problem any info would be great I'm stuck at this point.

Did you assemble everything correctly, did you clean the shoes with brake clean, and did you lube the adjuster and backing plate contact points?

Re: rear brakes stick need help?

if you install the adjuster for the shoes backwards, it will tighten everytime you drive and heatup the drums, eventually lock up the rear. Not sure if your issue is that bad, but its an idea.

The operation of the drums is pretty simple, so if you leave the drum off and have somebody press the brake pedal, you can watch things work. Maybe you will find something binding, like a spring installed wrong or something like that.
