Backright squeaks...except when brake is applied??

Hey guys,

my 92 RS has been having some trouble lately. While I'm driving, I hear an obnoxious constant squeal coming from my back right. When I apply the brakes...it stops! When I let go, it'll remain silent for a few seconds, then start up again. I'm hoping it's a busted spring, but does anyone know for sure what it is? (The backs are drums BTW)

Thanks,
Marc

it sounds like that brake is rubbing slightly and causing it to squeal, when you apply the brakes its putting pressure on them and stoping the squeal, my advise is to just adjust that side. hope this helps
