Dumb question, can't find in search

I'm trying to bleed my lines but the bleeders are recessed. I did a search and they all just say to use a long socket, but how can I get a socket in there and have a hose on the bleeder at the same time?

you have to loosen the bleeder with the socket, then put the hose on. You can use the hose to turn the bleeder to open/close it as needed, then tighten it back up with the socket.

A six-point socket might help prevent rounding.
