Brake light on
Took my rear out to do some work and when I put it back in the brake light is on and wasn't before. I have no leaks and bled the brakes. Will the parking brake being out of adjustment cause this?

Re: Brake light on
Very could. Only time mine comes on, is when I pull the e-brake handle so I would suspect that is just the cause of the light being on. Sure the handle is ALL the way down? My light turns on, at only 1 click up..

Yeah it's all the way down. I used some pliers to grab the cable and hook it back on the lever on the brakes. I might have pulled it out too far. Not sure if that's posible.

Re: Brake light on
If you pushed down on the brake pedal while there were no brakes hooked up to the rear, then a little switch on your master cylinder will have to be reset to get rid of the brake light. I'm working on my rear brakes too...
