LS1 front brakes and wheel adapter question.
I have done a search and either I am really horrible at searching or I am really horrible at searching.
I have LS1 fronts with 10 spoke rims. I currently have 2.25" and then stick out WAY too far for my taste. The rear is a 4th gen rear so I would love for the offset to match up and this is where I need help.
In my unreliable memory bank I have 1.75" adapters stuck. I just read one post that said for someone with Z06 brakes they should go with a 1.5" adapter. What size adapter will get me to the same offset for both front and rear, or what is the mathematical equation to get me to the right size? Thanks and I apologize for asking a question that has been covered.

Re: LS1 front brakes and wheel adapter question.
the brakes upgrade adds about 1/3" in track width, so the 2.25 spacer want to be a little more like 1.95. Not going to find that, so the 1.75 would be closest
the easiest way to do this is to just take the wheel and spacer off, lower hte car to ride height with the wheel off, then place the wheel in the well where you want it, then measure for a spacer.

Re: LS1 front brakes and wheel adapter question.
Actually, a place called Motorsport Technology makes adapters in a ton of different sizes between 1.5" and 1.75". I was hoping someone had a set of something around that size to show me how close it comes to the fender.
I will try what you suggested to see what I come up with.

Re: LS1 front brakes and wheel adapter question.
im in the same boat. i want to order from motorsport but the 2" spacer just sems to stick the wheels out too far. With my brake upgrade i would need 35mm spacers to get the front wheels in the same place as 2" (51mm) spacers would. i want to get them made so i can turn them down an additional 1/4" if i want too. If some one could verify that 1.75" spacers work with 4th gen 17x9 50mm offset wheels i would order accordingly.
