Disconecting the Pressure Differential Switch
I am converting my car over to manual brakes (not enough vacuum anymore). I got everything plumed and my pressure differential switch or combination valve is obviously no longer used. So my question is my brake light going to be on if I just leave the pressure switch connector hanging unhooked? I Am not up on this switch but I am thinking it is a simple one wire contact (ground) switch, so will leaving it hang open produce no light? Or does it need grounded for no light?
Thanks

the light will be off with the wire disconnected.
you may have to have it hooked up if the saftey inspection station REALLY wants to break your *****.

just take it off, if the switch need a ground to keep the light off, ground the wire to the chassis, if it doesnt need a ground, cap it off

Re: Disconecting the Pressure Differential Switch
You consider using an Electric Vacuum Pump since you have no engine vacuum? Kinda like this....
