Anyone ever try the old school Full size GM brakes on the front?

Anyone ever try the old school Full size GM brakes on the front?
Has anyone ever tried to put a full size....like 73 Impala disc set-up on a third gen....I know it's old school....but I think it's cool!

Why do it though?
The Impala would have the bigger lug pattern, so your wheels would no longer fit & you'd hafta get new wheels.
And your fronts are rears would be different lug patterns.
I just can't see ANY point in even trying.

Not to mention that old brakes like those are pretty dang heavy, I can't see the point either. You want to lose weight, not put it on. Especially with unsprung weight
