Engine: 5.0 305 carb
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: stock 10 bolt
rear disc swap!!??
i have an 87 iroc with rear drums. i was digging through the junkyard and found a 85 firebird with rear disc brakes. do you know if i could take the whole rear end off and it be compatable with my car?

Just did it myself, direct bolt in (I went from a 10-bolt to a Borg Warner 9-bolt). Make sure you grab the disk brake lines on the axle as well, the drum brake lines are not the same.
