1987 GTA Rear caliper problems....help!!!

Hi guys,

I have a 1987 Trans Am GTA with the early type rear brake calipers on a 9 bolt rear end. The problem I am encountering is both calipers are binding on all the time, the park brake levers are backed right off, but the wheels can still hardly turn, I am led to believe this is a common issue with these rear ends, if so what is the fix, is it new calipers??? Any help would be greatly appreciated, these have got to be one of the most complex crappy set ups I've seen...thanks in advance and sorry if this question has been answered a 1000 times before.
