ls1 swap

i see everyone says the ls1 brake swap seems to be the best priced way to upgrade your brakes. I want to upgrade my fronts right now and eventually get to my rears but i dont the garage right now to replace a rear. Is it ok to do a swap on the front without doing the rear yet?
