Stoptech rotors from Summit

Hey all, the Mrs. decided to take up upon herself (can't really be mad at her) to buy some rear rotors for the gta for my b-day. My car has larger rear discs in the back, I'm pretty sure the front are the regular 10" sized. I know the 1LE are 12" but My question is can I run any of these front rotors besides the 10" without any modification?

If I understand your question, your '89 has standard front brakes. And a single piston iron caliper. And you want to know if there are larger rotors that can be used w/o mods.

In this case the only front rotor that can be run without mods is the stock 10.5" rotor. Note that this rotor is integral with a hub.

Another item is that the stock front brakes are marginal. Better stock size rotors barely help. Best bet is to plan out an upgrade in the form of brackets, larger rotors, dual piston aluminum calipers, and pads.

For the front brakes this makes all the difference in the world.

Thanks for the quick response! That's kinda what I was thinking. I know Summit has these style Stoptech rotors in larger sizes so I guess I should look into upgrading.
