e brake cables need info

Car: 1992 rs stock for now
Engine: 305
Transmission: auto
e brake cables need info

im swaping my drum rear end out of my 92 rs for a 88 rear end disc out of a iroc the e brakes were shot when i removed them where can i geta new set of cables? also are all e brake cables that have rear disc brakes the same for all the years of the camaro if not what year should i get a 88 cable 92 cables that were for disc brakes ?

82-88 cables, which accompanied the old-style iron Delco-Moraine calipers, and cables for 89+ with PBR's are different.

Your 92 should have a self-adjusting parking brake, but to cover your bases take a look. If it should have the adjuster seen below (or you swap one in), use cables for an 88. The 89+ cables won't work.

so tour saying if i have the e brake adjuster i can jus use my 92 e brake and if i dont buy the adjuster and the 88 cables

If you have the adjuster (which I doubt you do), use cables for an 88. The cables made for your 92 will not fit the old style Delco-Moraine calipers on the 88.

The adjuster is spot welded in place, IIRC.

EDIT: It seems to be that if your car requires the tunnel adjuster, you'll also need the parking brake handle from an earlier car. A search might turn up more on that issue.
