calipers on opposite sides?

Car: 1990 RS Camaro
Engine: 400 sbc throttle body
Transmission: world class t5 manual
Axle/Gears: 3.73's, Detroit TrueTrac
calipers on opposite sides?

i am putting a 4 wheel disc brake setup on my car and the reared i go out of the junk yard has it set up to where the calipers bolt on opposite sides. and i tried turning the plate so they would been the same side but the holes wouldn't line up. is there something wrong or are they suppose to be like that?
