help with e brake cables

Engine: 305

help with e brake cables

i am swaping out the old drum brake rear end out of my 92 rs and putiing in a a 88 iroc 350 rear end with disc i got brake cables from the store and the pn# is wagner F130684 and they dont look like they work for either rear end ill try and upload some pics later what cables do i need please help

This backward swap seems problematic: First, the 88 would have been equipped with a tunnel-mounted parking brake adjuster; your 92 doesn't that that piece. Some members have swapped in the parking brake handle, etc., effectively making it an 82-88 system. Then, of course, the tube nut design changed in late 89, so the earlier disc combination valve won't fit. In the long run you might be well advised to use flynbye's drum-to-disc kit and swap on the much more desirable PBR's.

so i got the 88 brake cables now with the brake themeless is there a spring that suppose to be there with the e brake running through it cause i have two springs and im almost positive they were attached with the embark in some way and that the pic is th adjusting plate for the brake btw that in my 92
