LS1 brakes with 4thgen wheels what size spacers ?

I haven't really looked into this but maybe someone on here already has the answers im looking for... I plan to get wheels that are made to go on 93 - 02
f-bodys. I have LS1 brakes... The ls1 rotors sit on the outside surface of the turned down 3rdgen rotors "Hub" im not to sure off hand what the thickness of the ls1 rotor is at the face 1/4" ? Would i want to compensate for the extra materiel in the front when ordering spacers?

i know with the front, as long as they are 98+ fbody brakes your going to need 1.25" spacers but i dont know about the rears, thats what im trying to get together right now, im doing this swap soon. I picked up rotors, calipers, pads, front spindles, rear rotors, pads, calipers and ALL the brake lines for $100 from an 02 ss that i just cant pass up!

For a stock brake third gen, it takes a 2" spacer in the front to properly fit a 4th gen offset wheel. I don't remember what the thickness of the rotor is, but it's up to you to determine if you want a narrower spacer. I stuck with the 2" spacer (mainly because I didn't feel like buying another set) and it looks fine. It's not noticeable...on my car. It all depends on the wheels you use, your car, how much you're lowered, etc. Some cars, it's very obvious.

Edit: I just re-read your post...since you are going to buy spacers, I would get some made to compensate for the rotor. 1.75" (or 2"-rotor thickness).

LS1 rotor thickness on the hat is .300....1.7 inch spacer or there about would be perfect

Hmmm... That's generally what i was thinking like 1.75" in the front to compensate for extra thickness of the ls1 rotors, then 2" in the rear. But i wasn't sure... I know most people run 2" all around regardless of brake upgrades but i figured it be best to keep the front and rear track about equal even though you couldn't tell the front had an extra 1/4" more using 2" but i have to order spacers so it doesn't matter anyway i'll just order a set of each size i need. Thanks for the input guys
