Rear Drum Question
Im getting ready to change the rear brake lines on my 90 formula with a drum rear. I have a couple of questions. First does anyone know the exact size of the bleeder and if i need a special wrench or if i can just us a regular open end/box end wrench on it?? Second question would be what size clear tubing i need to go over the bleeder so i can bleed it into a bottle?? I know theyre dumb questions and ive done alot of front brake work but lines and bleeding are kind of new to me. And also since my reservoir is completely empty and im starting with all new fluid where should i start bleeding and where should i end? Thanks for any info

Re: Rear Drum Question
1/8- 3/16 rubber tubing should be fine, i forget the bleeder size, might be 5/16? but you will need a deep well 1/4" drive socket to get to it, or there is a special tool. the socket works, but can be a bit tricky to bleed since you cant have the hose and the socket on the bleeder at the same time.
if the master is dry, you have to remove it from the car and bench bleed it or you will never get all the air out. once its bled, do not let it go dry again.
The front and the rear are different fluid circuits, so it doesn't really matter where you start. I start in the front usually.
