Wilwood kits

I'm looking at these three kits trying to decide the best way to go. How much money could be saved by starting with just the assembly and building on that versus going all out for the $1500?

Re: Wilwood kits

Depends. If you look around and get lucky you can find brake setups, parts, calipers ect for cheap from time to time.

Re: Wilwood kits

C5 Z06 brake rotors are 12.8" x 1.25" and I found some red wilwood FSLs for $230 each. Shouldn't that work with the $515 assembly kit? Depending on the rotors I should be able to get a kit for around $1300 w/ red calipers. Am I missing something?

Nope that makes sense. The normal black FSL calipers are around $170 each.

Re: Wilwood kits

You will need custom flex lines and caliper mounting brackets as well.

Re: Wilwood kits

With the uncertainty around flynbye I may have to go with the C5. Has anyone seen the wilwood FSL brackets anywhere else?

I may be selling my Wilwood setup in the near future. With larger wheels I plan to step up my brakes. Feel free to contact me if you are interested.

What do you have and when are you thinking about selling?
