im going to be replacing my brakes soon but i honestly dont know what to buy since its my first brake job, i know i need new rotors, new shoes, new pads, but what else? wheel bearings and wheel cylinders? dust cover caps? washers? what do i need to replace so i can order them? help please, also are bendex, wagner, and monroe good brake companys?

Summit racing has decent priced stock replacement sized slotted rotors and pad combos. They take sock bearings and seals you should replace them too they are cheap. Dust cap, washer, and nut should be fine, but a new cotter pin is a good idea. For the rear resurface drums and purchase new shoes and hardware, if the wheel cy's are not leaking you can re use them, any doubts they are also cheap.

 

I'm going through rockauto and getting all Wagner stuff, so far in my cart are thermo-quiet pads and shoes, and Warner rotors. And the cost is $170
