LT1 brakes on a 87 IROC
Hi, I am thinking of putting a LT1 rear brake set up on my 87 IROC. Has any one done this and any problems to look out for? Ray

They are a direct bolt in, and performance is no different from a PBR rear disk in a later thirdgen.
If you had drums you will need to change the proportioning valve or buy an adjustable valve. See the tech articles on this site.

Specifically this one: https://www.thirdgen.org/ls1reardisc
Read ALL of the articles. It contains a great deal of information that is well known on these boards and the articles are a good resource.
