New aluminum replacement master cylinders..

For those in the market for a new unit. I am because of issues ive had with ss lines and reman. Master cylinders. Seems only two companies now make them in aluminum. All the others are using cast iron, which i think has only to do with cost. Here they are: Dorman part# M39575 and Cardone part# 132057. Centric makes one but cannot confirm if it is aluminum or not. On Rock autos site where most price shop you will see a Raybestos part #Mc39575 and the description actually says aluminum. It is not I called them directly and they confirmed that. Also the ac delco replacement is as well cast iron. Its all in preference, but stuff likes to rust in the northeast and the last thing I need is another thing to paint. Hope this helps anyone in the market. Take care.

Thought about it but just want to leave it stock. Well you scratch another one off the list. After calling dorman and confirming it is aluminum my father ordered it from his shop, another cast iron piece, and it was anodozed gold. Came with the bleed kit and all. Funny the acdelco one came with nothing, no caps no bleed kit. Delco brand has definatly gone down the tubes in terms of quality. Will let u know on the cardone when i get it.

Well good news out of all the aftermarket replacement suppliers cardone came through. I shot an email over to them and the tech there had them custom build me one in aluminum. Awesome. Seems you cant get them new in aluminum anymore from anyone. Def a big thumbs up to cardone. Definatly will be buying all my replacement parts from them. Take care everyone
