E-Brake Equalizer adjuster thread
On an '89 IROC (10 bolt w/ drum brakes), what is the thread on the emergency brake equalizer/adjuster? Is it 1/4-24, 1/4-20, or metric? I've done a search and come up empty.
I'm in the middle of swapping in a '95 posi disc brake rearend and can't get the nylock nut off the threaded rod for the equalizer/adjuster b/c it jams part of the way down. I'd like to run a die up the threaded rod to clean it up but want to be certain what the thread is.
Here's a pic of the threaded end I'm talking about:
Thanks!

Re: E-Brake Equalizer adjuster thread
Yep, it's an 8m x 1 thread. Thanks!
Btw, here's a pic of how we solved the equalizer issue. If the thread hadn't been messed up on the original cable, it might have been long enough as it was.
