Where to get C4 HD caliper carriers
I've been reading up on the C4 HD 13" front brake upgrade and I'm trying to source and price the assorted components. I'm having trouble finding the caliper carriers. It seems they are no longer available from GM. I found a couple for $115 each. Is that the best I'm likely to find unless I get lucky? It's beginning to look like it would be about the same price (and way easier) to just get the complete kit from Flynbye (or?) but I've read he's really backed up. What to do?

http://www.bigbrakeupgrade.com is never backed up(that i can tell or never heard of), actually responds to people that ask questions (generally the next day) But doesn't do C4 brakes. LS1 or C5 only, from what I can tell.

Re: Where to get C4 HD caliper carriers
yes, they are all 13" J55 calipers. Same as the ZR1 caliper and the baer track stuff. The only difference is the casting. The 96 GS calipers are pressure cast and as such a little stffer than the earlier ones. The baer calipers are the same pressure cast ones. The earlier ones have fins. The GS ones come w corvette script.
