95 parts car worth it for the brakes?

I have an opportunity to score a running V6 fourth gen for a daily driver. I don't know anything about that series of car so i'm not sure if it would be worth it to grab the car in an attempt to use and of the components on my Iroc after its worn out its use getting me to work and back for a few months. I know a lot of guys use the interior in our cars but I'm looking for technology advances in brake calipers, biger rotors, ect.

Many members have swapped in the rear end for better gearing and/or swapped in the rear braking system's larger brakes (which are nearly identical 89-97). No one that I know of uses the fronts.

Right on, thank you. Any swappability benefits as far as master cylinder or anything? looking for a commuter and I know the owner so I have witnessed that the thing does pretty damn good on gas. just need more reason than that to deter me from the million mpg 4banger mini-truck im lookin at as well.
My current car is an 88' Iroc-Z with the 5.7TPI motor 700R4 trans and the borgwerner rear end( cant remember the gearing in those things off top my head) and disc brakes all the way around, would the 95 stuff be a worthwhile advancement for time and effort( im assuming most of it is not direct bolt on transfer, so fab time and cost plays in on top of cost of car) or would I be at a break even point or less?
I guess what the long of the short is if the "bigger" rotors are just mm bigger with the same caliper then whats the point?

Larger rotors and alum PBR calipers (89-97), which, most would agree, is a superior set-up to the 82-88 design with smaller rotors and iron Delco-Moraine calipers.

You might peek at the following link for info about backing plates, master cylinders, parking brake cables, and combination valves:
