1/4" enough space between rotors and rims?

1/4" enough space between rotors and rims?

I'm wondering if a quarter inch gap is enough space between my rims and calipers I dont want anything to flew and rub. Canyone help with this?

Depends on the wheel I guess. It will work. I had less than that with the crosslaces and rear ls1 sytle brakes and ripped off some wheel weights that where on the backside of the hub.

I have 5/16" spacers on right now that will not work. I'm thinking I need half inch spacers, 3/4" seems like it might be a bit excessive. The rims are torq thrust II and I need them to clear c5 rotors.

I hope you have longer than stock studs.

Anyway, 1/4" gap should be just fine.
