Brake Pads

Anyone have brake pad recommendations for aggressive street use. Looking for (in order of importance) something somewhat aggressive, reasonably priced, available, not too dusting and not too noisy.

If it matters I'm looking for them in D412 pattern (C4, Cobra...) front pads and 4th gen PBR rear pads....

Barring a better idea I'm tempted to just try some generic ceramic pads or possibly hawk's ceramic pads- ceramic pads tend to stop well, not dust much and generally work well on the street.

Re: Brake Pads

I just installed a set of premium pads on mine with stock brakes in the front, 4th gen pbr's rear. I only did the front brakes. They are terrible and I think they are not safe. the pedal is very soft and pedal effort is very high, and I replaced them with cheap pads, so the ceramics made them worse. The pads are made by akibono.

Stillen Metal Matrix pads will outdo the Hawk HPS pads in terms of everything. Stopping power, feel, dust.....The Stillen pads are excellent pads. Hawk makes a ceramic pad with a bit less performance than their HPS pad. But just go with the Stillen.

Stillen > Hawk HPS or Ceramic.
