Did i screw up my rear caliper??

I was painting my calipers and i took the spring loaded thing with a counter weight of sorts that the e -brake cable attaches too off. Now here is my problem...I can't get it back on with tension. So am I screwed or am i doing something wrong???

Counter weight or dampener? Delco-Moraine or PBR?

Re: Did i screw up my rear caliper??

think I have it figured out, we will see in a few hours when I have time to get back to working on it. I did alot of reading and it seems that the rear calipers on these car are a little different than most it terms of the e brake.
