Putting 95 Z28 complete rear end into 83 Camaro
My first problem is how to remove the E-brake from the caliper. Any knowledgeable guys out there that know how? Thanks.
When I remove the rubber cap that is on the stud with a nut on the other side, there is a clip pin. Can you get new clips because it looks like you'll destroy the clip during removal.

We had an extra caliper with the E-brake on it and took it apart. Took the clip off and pushed the shaft through. I hope I can find a replacement clip. The rubber boot just holds in grease so the shaft and parts move freely. Then it was easy to remove the rest of the E-brake assembly. Now I can polish up the caliper which buffs out really nice. I guess the damper disc is to help with vibration.
