rear disc e brake issue
I recently changed from a 10 bolt disc to a 9 bolt. on the 85 10 bolt I had one fairly new replacement caliper. it didn't go on the 87 9 bolt because the threads stripped out for the brake line. so I used the two calipers that were with it.
the wheels lock up when the brake is applied. they were bled properly. the parking brake cables were put on and all adjusted. however the parking brake will not work. the cables move and tension springs at the caliper compress. I knw all the mechanics are working. it seems the actuators are not moving inside the calipers.
do I need to replace both calipers or rebuild them?
