P/N NM1985 and ZY12263 Master cylinder
Hey all,
I just got this master cylinder pn NM1985 or ZY12263, new from autozone. its supposed to be a performance master cylinder for a 86-92 5.7 car.
I need a 4 wheel disc master and I hope this is it.
Any ideas? I searched these numbers and couldn't come up with much.
I just switched to Ford explorer rear disc with my 12 bolt moser. They said the piston size is the same as factory and that my master is probably bad.
any ideas? part number correct???? thanks

What is a performance master cylinder?
What problem are you having?
The stock master cly should work fine, with either a 1LE or an aftermarket adjustable prop valve.
