brake pads for 9 bolt axle

I was out and checked the brakes on my Iroc and the rear pads are pretty well worn out.. Car has a 9 bolt disc brakes....Where do I go to look for pads? Were the pads used on any other GM vehicle? Also any part numbers for say raybestos or Napa type places

The iron Delco-Moraine calipers/pads were identical to both the 9- and 10-bolt.

EDIT: Oops, sorry. In 89 you should have alum PBRs. That said, they too are the same as the 10-bolt (90-92).

Re: brake pads for 9 bolt axle

If it's the delco brakes (where one is on the calipers is on the FRONT of the rotor and the opposite side is on the BACK of the rotor) then they should take the same pads that are used on the front. At least this is the case with my '83 Z28. I have a 9-bolt disc rear from (I think) an '87 IROC and it just so happens that I now use the exact same pads on all 4 wheels.

Look for 89-92 pads. The part will likely mention "1LE" or "performance" somewhere in the advert (though all thirdgencars with J65 brakes were equipped with PBR's in those years).
